Just a few more photos to wrap up yesterday’s birding.
There were plenty of Robin around the feeders at Watermead North today and with the exception of a couple of minor skirmishes they all seemed to tolerate each other. Maybe in the harsh conditions they become aware of some kind of collective responsibility to survive.

Hi John, funny you should mention the “tolerant” Robins at Watewrmead! In the week whilst conducting an owl survey at a local farm I observed SEVEN Robins all feeding together on seed that the farmer had put out. I always thought they were very territorial and aggressive towards their own kind? It is normal for them to drop their aggressive approach when the harsh conditions are with us?
I can only think it’s a needs must policy Paul… I expect normal service to be resumed soon.
