Hold On Buffy

As I wind down to my Shetland trip agonising news yesterday of one of my bogey birds on mainland Shetland. A Buff-bellied Pipit was found at Eshaness and was photographed by Hugh Harrop. Please hang on till Friday, please hang on.

  1. Like wise John!

  2. Your not even there and your already talking of twitching – looks like me and the Llama will have to do the doctor’s garden 😉

Is our’s the Doctors garden? Anyway we’re a day ahead of you!

  4. Hi John
We’re up on Shetland next week too. Pls get in touch via email so we can swap numbers etc in case we find anything.
Thanks for the comments on the blog, will arrange a link.
    cheers
    Jonathan

  5. But we’ve got 6 more days than you John 😉

  6. Marcus and me have thrashed Levenwick today, so now we know what’s there and any ridiculous claims from you lot will be treated with the contempt they deserve. For your info: 2 Red-breasted Flycatchers, a Yellow-browed Warbler and lots of common tat. Nothing to see at Levenwick – just go twitching for a week if I was you.

So you missed the Swainson’s then Rob?!
