Taking the ferry from Departure Point, Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver we had no encounters with Orca or anything else really barring a few Harbour Seal. This, I presume 2nd summer kept us company for a short way. Surely now another species those filthy Larophiles should be looking out for.
On the way up to Pemberton we stopped off at Brandywine Falls where the local Stellar’s Jay population act like giant Chaffinch back home, waiting for food scraps.
When we got to Pemberton we had a stroll around One Mile Lake before dinner when this Osprey did a spot of fishing.
I like an Osprey when they’re not at Rutland Water!
