Turnstone And Other Waders

A few digiscoped photos from North Norfolk yesterday. A fuller post will appear later. I love the new Nikon Coolpix P310… have I said that before? I do. I love it and I’m still learning with it.

I also unearthed some old footage of bird spotters from Snettisham in the 1960s… note the futuristic optics.

Hi Gary – in Av mode use the smallest f-stop possible and the lowest ISO I can never higher than ISO400. I also have the metering set at centre weighted and macro focusing. Finally I generally have it under exposing by -1/3 or -2/3 to avoid any whites blowing out.

  3. thanks, what af area mode are you useing?

Sorry Gary – only just seen this. I use centre weighted and set it to macro.
