… as they might say at Carrow Road.
After a heavy overnight snowfall, Leigh and I set off for Norfolk full of trepidation. Would we actually make it? Our plan had be to go birding on Sunday and then check into our B&B, The Griffin Hotel in Attleborough.
Given the weather, we decided to change plan and head straight to Attleborough, check-in and then head to Norwich. We’d hopefully go birding on Monday. Our journey could easily have been worse but apart from the car getting very dirty we arrived safe and sound.
We took the train into Norwich and set about sightseeing before hitting some of Norwich’s fine real ale pubs.
Parts of Norwich really reminded me of Brugge which is unsurprising as Norwich was prominent in the Hanseatic League.
